Laser printers, generally are not great at printing images. If you are not sure please download a sample invitation in the design of your choice to check printing quality on your printer.

Cut your items to size using the trim lines on the templates. Why can’t I find my downloads?
Please check where your download files are saved on your computer. Help on how to do this below:
- Open your personal folder by clicking the Start button, then click your user name at the top of the Start menu’s right pane.
- Double-click one of the following folders: Downloads. Documents. Pictures. Videos. Music.
- Open Finder, search for “Downloads folder”
- Look for the folder with and arrow on the front, double click on the folder and look for your file name
Why is my printer not printing to the edge?
Please check your printer is able to print borderless. Refer to manufacturers manual
- Check your printer settings and made sure the borderless printing option is chosen
- Check the printer isn’t re-sizing the template “to fit the page” – click Print on the File menu. Under Zoom, select the paper size you want to use in the Scale to paper size box.
- Checked there are no margins are set. Go to view -> ruler, then check the line indents are set to the very edge of the page.
Why is my template not aligning correctly when I print double sided?
If you have trouble aligning the front and back pages, make sure you’re not setting the program up as a double-sided document. This may add a slight margin and throw off the alignment a bit.
Follow these steps to print double-sided:
- Print front page
- Flip paper over and put back in printer
- Print back page
Also, make sure that your printer isn’t sizing the template down. You will want to make sure that you don’t have “size to page” or something similar checked on the options. You want it to print 100% or it will decrease in size and the alignment will not work.
If your printer is adding margins and won’t let you to reset the margins to zero, see what it is setting the largest margin to and make that the same on all sides. This way your program won’t be off center, just smaller and will need trimming on all sides.
How do I create more than 4 place cards per file?
Most people just save a file for each 4 cards and call each one a different name i.e. table cards 1. Then open and print each file.
To create a multiple pages in the same file in Word follow the steps below:
- You need to click outside of the document in word
- edit –> Select all. ( all text and background should be highlighted)
- edit –> copy
- click outside the doc so that nothing highlighted
- insert –> break –> page break
- The page will move down and leave a blank page above it. Click at the tope of the empty page
- edit —>paste
